Plus "ground zero" was a generic term for the epicenter of a nuclear explosion. The term only acquired a specific meaning for Americans ("Ground Zero") after it was used to describe the 9/11 attacks.

On a less depressing note, as someone who doesn't like holiday music, this song is a perfect panacea for me. Whenever I start to get sick of all the saccharine Christmas music that's hard to avoid this time of year, I give it a spin and smile.

Unless you spend significant portion of your time in shopping centers, it's quite easy to avoid :?

Did my workout to Polka Party! today, mostly to rock this song, had to play it twice, such a short album. I can only listen to this song in December.
What a racket they're makin', Jack, they keep me up at night playin' their electric guitars!!

Maybe in Lithuania this is true, but in America it's unavoidable. Not a big fan of December. :santa:

I also am not enamored of Christmas music. It gets annoying really quickly. This is actually my favorite Al Xmas song!

How? They can't force you to listen to it in your home, workplace, or your car, and if your friends aren't lame, they also don't listen to it...

Every store, restaurant, shopping mall, etc. plays nothing but Christmas music from the day after Thanksgiving onwards.

But usually people don't spend that much time in those facilities to get sick of the music, do they? I guess it would be a problem for someone who eats out regularly... I didn't even know restaurants play christmas music because I eat out so rarely it never happened on december  .

I like listening to Christmas music when we're doing Christmas things like decorating the tree and house and stuff. :santa: I prefer The Night Santa Went Crazy to Christmas at Ground Zero, but both are nice additions to the rest of the Christmas music.
