2. I Lost On Jeopardy
Costume: Black shirt, black pants

6. Addicted To Spuds

7. One More Minute

8. Dog Eat Dog

10. Living With A Hernia

I wouldn't sacrifice UHF for a modified version of the 1987 tour but it would still be cool.

In all seriousness, Al probably would've gotten only 3-5 songs at most. That's the common rate for opening acts, and MJ had long concerts as it was. The rabid fans would be restless.

Re: Opening for Micheal Jackson 1988
I wonder if he would have been allowed to play any Michael Jackson parodies at all, seeing as how that might double up on the material. I read that when Al used to have an opening act, if they were musical they were not allowed to do any kind of song parodies.
Love and peace.

I don't think he would've done even the Snack All Night preview at all because Al said himself when he asked Michael for his blessing, he said no because he felt Black or White shouldn't have been parodied. Also Black or White was not released until 3 years later in 1991 so he couldn't have done it anyways

But if "Black or White" hadn't been written yet, then Michael wouldn't have felt that the subject matter was too serious to be parodied, and he would have given Al his blessing.senorconebra wrote:I don't think he would've done even the Snack All Night preview at all because Al said himself when he asked Michael for his blessing, he said no because he felt Black or White shouldn't have been parodied. but he wouldn't have had the song to parody in the first place if it hadn't been written yet

Maybe in this hypothetical scenario, Al wrote "Snack All Night" first and then MJ parodied it.senorconebra wrote:but he wouldn't have had the song to parody in the first place if it hadn't been written yet

Re: Opening for Micheal Jackson 1988
Right. So Al would do "Snack All Night," then Michael would write "Black or White" and refuse to give permission for "Snack All Night." Remember, Michael's objection was that the subject matter of "Black or White" was too serious to mock. It had nothing to do with whether the song existed or not.senorconebra wrote:but he wouldn't have had the song to parody in the first place if it hadn't been written yet
