Should I publish a book of my old photos?

He who's tired of Weird Al is tired of life.

Have you considered the fact that Al is now so famous and loved worldwide, and has been on 30-plus years of TV shows, radio and podcasts, that a lot of publishers would pay YOU money for this book????

Sounds cool.. If it does get too pricey you could always do it as an e-book

I would probably wait till the PDF pops up on the pirate bay, because I'm that broke at the moment (and in the near/mid-term future/forever), but sure, go ahead, don't let me stop you!

You could put an old tissues up for sale and said Al used them and we all would probably rush out to buy them. Look who you're asking!!

Although in the past i have purchased everything he has put out on the day it went on sale since Poodle Hat. But now that i have a family and just had a baby I am now poor so i may not be able to get it right away. Chances of me getting the Squeezebox thing are not looking good at the moment. ;(

Pardon the dead thread resurrection but I wanted to say I'd support a crowdfund let alone buy a copy.

Put me down for an enthusiastic yes. One caveat: There are currently two crowd-sourced AL books in the pipeline that I know of (one on Kickstarter, one on GoFundMe). I realize, especially considering the age of this thread, that you weren't planning on jumping on this right now but please don't step on their toes.

I haven't forgotten or given up on the project, I was actually just talking with someone about getting the best possible scans of my negatives.

Doubtful it would interfere with the other projects, I think my book's primary appeal would be to the most hardcore fans.

BTW, I already have Al's blessing on this. 2020 is probably a year off for the band, maybe a good time to really get going on it. :)
