For those speculating, The Hamilton Polka will not be played this tour. (As confirmed by Al in the recent interview with him and Lin-Manuel.)

Curious if they'll do any polkas this tour. Be cool to see Al bring out some of the older polkas for this tour.

He said in an interview there wouldn't be... I wanted Polkamon :P

But other old polkas would have been awesome too.

It's funny, I love all the polkas except one, but Polka Power! reminds me of an amazing time in my childhood and Polkarama was all songs from the summer before my senior year, up until graduating, with a couple being the summer after, so those would have been especially cool and nostalgic.

I'm guessing the Polkas count as parodies and these first shows he has been doing only originals until the melody at the end .

Seems like he has a couple tiers of songs. Part of the set are like (Jackson park express, Albuquerque , CNR...) and the rest is kind of random. Mr Popeil!! Maybe its by album? One obscure per per set.

The mystery deepens...

Whats up with some of the merch being sold at the gimmick table? Saw some vintage vinyls, Peter and the Wolf albums, tour crew stickers, some of which seemed overly pricy. Is this stuff Jon and Al dug out of the garage and put up for sale? I don’t know what the market value is for most of that stuff, but one thing that caught my eyes was some original UHF posters which they wanted $100 each for. I buy and sell movie posters from time to time and can tell you, as nice as they were, they aren’t worth $100 each.

From what it looked like to me, they weren’t the original double sided theatrical poster, but the cheaper looking posters printed on one side on cheap paper stock which would have been distributed to video rental stores. Even if you had the original theatrical poster in mint condition, it’s only maybe a $50-$60 piece, and the ones they were trying to get $100 for at the merch table are realistically only worth around $20-$30 on a good day, so buyer beware when going to shows if you’re thinking about dropping money on any of this stuff.

I was eyeing that poster at the Tarrytown show. The merchant was trying to hype it up as sitting in Al's storage locker for the last 25 years, as if that was supposed to make it worth more. I finally decided to pass, and then 10 minutes later I checked on ebay and found the exact same poster for $20!

Question: How have the crowds been at the shows so far? No "casual" fans being confused about the lack of parodies yet I hope? Curious how its been...

The first two shows had great enthusiastic crowds. Didn't notice anybody being disappointed at all. The Tarrytown show had a few obnoxious people yelling out requests all night. I was afraid that was gonna happen sooner or later. One guy kept yelling ANOTHER ONE RIDES THE BUS!!! Obviously he didn't know what he was there for.
