Alright, well, I've finished recording my part for the iRiff. No word on when Jace will be finished recording, but I think it's safe to say that we can look forward to a December release for this Track.

Maybe. We didn't get a huge number of submitters this time around, so we'd have to see a lot more interest pop up before doing anything like this again.

Really, it may have been more trouble than it was worth, getting the community involved, since not many people did participate. If I was just doing it on my own, it would have taken me a month at most. Couple of weeks if I rushed the process.

Really, if there was a big demand for it, I'd be up for a second round, but it doesn't look like it right now.

No offense, but I think the biggest reason people didn't participate was because it's a pretty obscure movie. I still think it'd be a lot better idea if you did this with "UHF." Yeah, it's already a comedy and yeah Al did commentary on the DVD, but I still think this would be a lot funnier and would breed much more participation than the Pokemon movie.

But there is so much you could do with Pokemon!

You don't riff comedies. It's agreed upon in the riffing community. No one would buy a commentary for a comedy film. Not to mention, they're very, very hard to riff. Pokemon was much easier. What we got was a powerfully funny script.

But my point is that you're riffing a movie that 90% of the WOWAY community doesn't care about...at all. Doesn't make much sense when there are lots of other perfectly decent movies to choose from, including "UHF."
