You're welcome. I was just happy to find it to share. Here's some other info,
"Homeboy Silk-Screen prints and ships T-shirts for radio stations, schools, and record labels, including Rhino, A&M, and Geffen." source
Maybe Volcano or Scotti uses them too? Could be how the location was discovered.
"The building was in the middle of three different gang turfs, but the gangs had agreed it was a safe haven" source
Three gang turfs! Better be careful crusin' these neighborhoods if you ever decide to visit. It's not technically Lynwood, but the the location is just 11 miles north of Lynwood High School.

Thanks for finding that, U62! That's awesome! Well, it's not Lynwood, but at least it's in L.A. Maybe Al is paying homage to where he lives now. *I know, he's not in that neighborhood, but, you know* You could make a whole sentence about Al and where he's from: "Straight Outta Lynwood, and into L.A."
hehe, just thinking out loud.
That's a lot more colorful and bright than it is on the cd cover. Al's going for that dark, mysterious look, I guess. I imagine you'll be getting a lot of thank you messages, U62.

Thank's for the location, U62! SPOILER That'd be cool if Al were to put a picture of the location before he used it or a picture of the location but from the point of view on the SOL cover. That'd be AWESOME!

I wonder if that was a factor in where to depict Al, because it seems like a funny concept to have Al hanging around the gangs' "no man's land."

Another theory is he's probably got some friends at Rhino and he asked them if they knew of a good location

I strongly believe Al has a huge winner on his hands here (and that's even without hearing any of the songs!).
