Just had this thought. The line
- Spoiler:
- You should never write words using numbers unless you're seven
made me think of
this.
Coincidence? Doubtful.

I think that's a coincidence. He was referring to
- Spoiler:
- people using "2" and "4" in place of "to" and "for."

Someone mentioned a few pages back (or maybe in the speculation thread?) that there's a reference to
- Spoiler:
- Brokencyde
in this song. What is it?

Which Robin Thicke does quite often.

I didn't mean that it was the meaning of the line in the song, just that he may have picked that particular age as a subtle reference.

I don't think there is. I don't much about them, but I haven't heard anything obvious referencing them. Someone was either joking around or misunderstood the lyrics (which would be pretty easy to do in this song.) Or it's something subtle that I wouldn't pick up on.

This section is in contention for my favorite Al lyric of all time:
- Spoiler:
- And, I thought that you'd gotten it through your skull
What's figurative and what's literal
Oh but, just now, you said
You literally couldn't get out of bed
That really makes me want to literally smack a crowbar upside your stupid head

Going back a few posts, the movie Se7en also popped into my head with that line.

I was in the shower listening to the song & I realized some meaning of the lyrics.
- Spoiler:
- Think be, see, are, you is talking about the usage of b, c, r, & u in common online talk.
I laughed so much harder at this part.
