That's a pretty impressive collection, I'm one of the only ones here that doesn't have a freakishly huge collection.

Hmm...if there is, then I don't think it's ever been discussed.American Pie @ Jun 24 2004, 01:46 AM wrote: Is there any way you can tell if the Volcano reissue of Bad Hair Day is the Alapalooza cd art without opening the CD?
One would think it would be similar to the whole CIN/SO thing with "Poodle Hat," where there would be some kind of indication on the barcode sticker or something, but I have a feeling something like that wouldn't have mattered. The error seems to have been on Volcano's end, not on whoever pressed the discs.
If it helps, the error BHD CDs also had an incorrect 1994 copyright date on the back of the case. Now, I don't know if that's been fixed since it's been a while since I've looked at one in a store, but that might be something to look out for.

I really have more, i just only put 5. Wanna hear at least 3 more...
6. Sang Weird Al for the talent show (TWICE, Eat It and Couch Potato)
7. Everyone in my science class wants me to sing him constantly.

My collection, is freakishly small, owing to the fact that my 'rents have to buy everything for me, unless its right after my b-day.
i have all the albums, minus Peter and the Wolf and Alapalooza (I can't find Alapalooza! I've looked everywhere!)
two official t-shirts
Two unofficial t-shirts
one official backpack
several drawings, which i have done myself
a collage box
a care-bear (i made it myself!)
and several fanfics that i wrote

Hello--
I've gotten several private messages so I'll clarify here a couple of things
The Korean In-3D cassette was aquired well in Korea. My Dad went there on business in 1984 and picked it up for me! It is not actually in Korean, it is English. The artwork is the same but has a grey border around the edges. The sound quality has much more bass then the domestic release. No x-tra songs.
I do not own Peter and the Wolf on CD but have it on cassette.
I just looked around and saw I have Babalu Music on VHS but no CD
I just also checked and see I have around 50 VHS tapes with TV appearances. (some duplication of course)
I also found my tour program from when Al toured with the Monkees.
I also found a bumper sticker that reads "This Car Stops for Weird Al Concerts!" (I have yet to convince my wife to let me put it on our car even on concert days)
The one thing I wish I still had was a picture of Al from the late 1980's where he wore large plastic rimmed glasses. I know he mentioned in interviews that he thought he looked a little goofy so he immediately quit wearing them.
I think I am one of the older members here and I started collecting 20 years ago. I remember as a kid I called the CPFOA office to subscribe to their newsletter and not only did I get the next issue, they sent all back issues! I also wish I had some of the old flyers they used to send about joining the club.
I know of several folks here and at least one mod who have 100 times what I got so I do not consider what I have a large collection of Al stuff.
Hoping to go to the Merrillville IN show this year. Show #9 or 10 I think.
Peace
Dustin
