Not bothering to look through every spoiler tag to see if this has been already said: After the first verse and chorus, I was practically shaking my head, and then when he sang "Oh by the way, I've cracked the code..." I flipped. Clever and well done!

Like everyone else, I loved the second verse. But damn, this needed to go for AT LEAST one more verse. This should have been like A Complicated Song, but instead it just feels unfinished. It feels kind of lazy. Like Al wrote two verse, couldn't think of more and said, "Good enough!" It's not a full song. If he performs it in concert, it'll have to be in the medley.

I think the conspiracy theories concept could have filled a whole long. There's so many that are absolutely nuts and Al could have made up more absurd ones. Man.

Yep, it's happened to a couple people. For me it was particularly embarrassing because we've been speculating he might do EXACTLY that.

But Royals only has two verses. Hes never lengthened a song

I don't think the song should have been lengthened, and I also don't think there was much more to be gained by including the bridge at the end. The two verses were enough. "Always leave them wanting more!" - PT Barnum

Did anyone else hear "aluminati" the first time through? I wonder if that was a deliberate pun.

Someone speculated a while ago about Breaking Bad/meth manufacturing. That would have made a great cap to the song on the third chorus.
