Same here! While part of me still wishes he had done a live-action vid, I admit that this was the better way to go for the song.

It was definitely better to do this with text. And they were still able to get in plenty of references to the original video.

Yeah, that was very clever. That and the "Good Times" reference caught me off guard. Didn't see those coming at all.
