I'm sure Al didn't even bother trying to deal with Disney's lawyers.

This is a great polka! It flows extremely well, and I love the beginning. My favorite part, hands down, was

when he did the Jerry Lewis-style "Lady" in Gangham Style. That cracked me up!

Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

I agree. He could have squeezed in at least two more songs. Not necessarily from those movies, but just in general.

But Patton Oswalt was right; this is the best medley ever made! :ttr:

Neither Let it Go or Everything is Awesome were particularly big chart toppers, I doubt Al would have given either of them even a first thought let alone a second though.

Actually, I think Patton Oswalt said that they did a style-parody of a band he's worshiped since the 90s and didn't mention the polka medley. I believe it was Bermuda that said that.

No, Patton said that too. I remember him Tweeting it. It was in the comments on the original Tweet about the album I believe.

"Everything is Awesome" is the song from the "Lego Movie." It's also about the most annoying song I've ever heard (and that includes "Friday.") I agree that would have sounded good in there at that spot, but it would have been horribly out of place on a medley of pop songs. I could have seen "Let It Go" in there, but there would be too many legal complications I think.

BTW, on the subject, "Tacky" is the very first time Al's ever parodied a theme song from a kids' movie. That speaks to the enormous popularity of the song beyond the realm of the movie's fans.

Let It Go reached #1 in some countries, and #5 in the US.
