Dunno if this counts as a craft or another "sticker", but I wanted to make some printable temporary tattoos for the upcoming TWAS DVD.. Yuuuup, the spatula one.

Ok, I'm going to give you all an inside look on how I make my chocolate Al suckers. Since I don't have batteries for my camera, all the images are scanned.
First step: I paint Al's face on the inside of the egg mold, then I stick the mold in the freezer to set the chocolate. I guess Mom was right. If you make a face, it'll freeze like that!
Step one
Second step: I paint the inside of the mold with a thin layer of white chocolate, leaving enough room for the mold to be filled later. Then, back in the freezer it goes, to set the chocolate. While I was painting these, one of the faces got messed up. I decided to leave it, so you can see what happens if you're not careful while working with hot white chocolate.
Step two
Third step: I fill the mold, put in a sucker stick, then cover the back with milk chocolate. Then, say it with me kids, back in the freezer. Then, you can take the suckers out of the mold.
This one happens to be a Snickers. Kinda boring, but, here's the back.
Step three
Here's the front. Kinda looks like Al did in the Gump video at this point. hehe!
"Bald Al" Yankovic
Fourth step: Add the hair. The chocolate has to be at just the right temperature. It also helps if the surface you're using is cold. It helps to set the curls.
The final result: Al with hair!
There you have it. That's how I make the chocolate Al suckers.

That's awesome! Heh, everytime I try to make anything involving chocolate, I... end up with chocolate-coated hands.

Thanks, Nova and waf! Bobbi wanted me to do something like this a long time ago. I might do Al cookies next. I really want batteries for my camera before I do that, though.

I can kinda relate on the camera thing; my digicam is German, and we don't have any power converters or adapters, so I can't charge it. *grumbles*
Can't wait if you do the cookie tutorial! [although I hate picturing myself biting off the head from something resembling Al..
