Looking at that picture, does anyone else think there might be more to the image than what he posted? The gray background seems like it might continue and reveal a larger picture. I googled the original image, and I don't see any examples of it on that kind of a gray background.

Re: Mandatory Fun Artwork
Looks like it could be a little cropped in with maybe more of the wall visible, like a Banksy piece. I don't think if you zoomed out any further it would reveal any additional jokes though.

I don't know what it's meant to parody, but somehow he reminds me of Loki hereBruce the Duck wrote:Can anyone identify what this is parodying?

Well, the uniform (and the video itself) are very Communist China-inspired, but I haven't found any pictures or posters of Mao or any other figure with both arms outstretched like that. It looks like he's just going for something vaguely messianic.

From what he is wearing, it looks similar to what I've seen the Kim family wear in North Koreamellow weasel wrote:I don't know what it's meant to parody, but somehow he reminds me of Loki hereBruce the Duck wrote:Can anyone identify what this is parodying?

Not everything he does has to be a direct parody of something in particular you guys.

Re: Mandatory Fun Artwork
No, but the other three posters were clearly referencing other propaganda poster themes, so it stands to reason that this one is as well.Grom wrote:Not everything he does has to be a direct parody of something in particular you guys.
