This I definitely agree with. I was hoping the video would help the song like with "Foil," but it didn't. I don't care that this was the most recent song he parodied. It should have been the track 9 or 10 song. At least Al was smart enough to know not to lead with this.

And after you pointed it out on SS video, now it's bothering me too
It's bothered me ever since "Party in the CIA." It's just such an unnatural type of marching he does, with his elbows going up way too high.

This is like something you'd see on UHF.
Yeah, I'm not particularly impressed, but I guess the corny small-business commercial look was what they wanted.

Definitely my least favorite video so far. Sure, "corny small-business commercial look" was what they were going for, I just was thoroughly unimpressed and not amused with the final product. Best part was at "Mow the lawn" when you hear the cat screech. Won't watch again.

It looked so poorly done. But after thinking about it, i guess it makes sense. I probably wont watch it more than a few times

All of which just might point out the bright side of Al leaving the conventional album model behind.
Handy probably exists because he had 12 slots he had to fill. In a brave new world where he parodies exactly what he wants and releases them exactly when he wants, the need for filler might go away.

About half-way through I figured out that they were going for the bad local TV ad. Still, I'm just not a big fan of the video on first watch. Maybe it will grow on me. Certainly, if we're having a hard time picking up what he was going for, the general public's not going to get it. Not sure this will be the extra boom that he needed to push the albums sells over the edge.

Way to point out the good side of things!

It's true that a lot of Al's weakest songs have been among the last ones recorded for an album and/or were just put on the album to fill space.
