Is that the PlayStation / N64 version or the Xbox version?

Playstation 2...That should work for the other systems...And this game wasn't made for N64...Only PS2, XBox, and GameCube.

There is a way to rip the songs:

first, you're going to need your PS2's RCA jacks and the RF Switch. Plug the Audio cables into a stereo that has RCA jacks in the back of it. You'll need an audio cable (Much like a guitar cable) to plug one end on your stereo's headphone jack, and the other end into your computer's line-in jack.

Now that you've got audio in your computer, you're going to need to select line-in in your volume properties.

You'll need an audio recording program like Cool Edit to record your PS2's audio playback.

Save it and burn it to CD and you'll have the songs in no time.

Hope that helps.

Sorry if this was a bit off topic.

Wouldn't you need a harddrive for your ps2 to do something like that?

http://www.stepmania.com

That is a game that is very similiar to DDR, but you'll have to have a ps-pc converter if you want to play with pads, otherwise you can just play with the arrow keys on your keyboard. You also have to either make your own songs or download them from other sites. There are several sites where you can download "step files" of songs from DDR and original stuff, but as always it's recommended that you own the songs or delete them after 24 hours.

To make your own "step file," you can rip the audio from one of your WAY CD's or get the MP3 you want from Itunes, and import it into the Stepmania program (I do believe there's a tutorial on the site. I've forgotten how to do it). It's somewhat difficult to do, because you have to time the BPM exactly right so your steps aren't off. I might see if I'll make some stepfiles whenever I have time. I've been meaning to do it for a while anyway!

TheMegChan, I was saying that you could record your PS2's audio directly to your computer, burn it to a CD and enjoy the music from a direct source.
