Seriously, how do you get "from a monastery" out of "go-go dancer, you see"?

The same way you get "cool Buddha Hercules" out of "cold glued to her TV."

Hey, at least I got the "Cold" part right. "go-go" and "from a" don't start with the same letter, or sound.

Aw, this thing is bumped! For the longest time I thought Melanie lived in the Galemore Building..

I was listening to the local talk radio station and the topic was misheard lyrics. Someone actually called in and said they heard "Another One Bites The Dust" as "Another One Rides The Bus"

My favorite story of misheard lyrics was when Wild Man Fischer thought "Like wow, man, can't you relate?" was actually "Like Wild Man, can't you relate?" in I'll Be Mellow When I'm Dead, and he thought Weird Al was out to kill him.

But I used to mishear lots of stuff, such as "three to pack" instead of "pretty packed" on Another One Rides the Bus, and
"Funky coal and geena" instead of "Funky cold medina" in Isle Thing.

Actually, it's "Like wow, man can you relate?" but that's an interesting story.
