Hey everyone, never left a reply before so here I go.. (and don't bash me for spelling errors please). This song is just a "silly song" I don't think It's meant to be taken any other way. I've read a lot of bashing for this song, just enjoy it, It's a "Weird Al" song. I thought people would be more affended by a song about people's body parts falling off (Party at The Leper Colony). Leprosy (Hansen's disease) is not realy some thing to laugh at either, just look how many people suffer from this disease, then try to find how many weasels get stomped on. Think about it.
The music sounds like a "How the Grinch stole christmas" song (the old one).
thanks

Why should we listen to that guy? Just look at all those spelling errors. Just kidding... They make a good point.

I really could have done without the sound effects. Those were pretty disgusting.

Love the energy, the purposeful mockery (not Colin, from Who's Line Is It Anyway) of animal cruelty and some of our weird "traditions," and especially the sound effects. They are so unexpected, they make you laugh out loud (sorry -- make you ROTFLOL)!

For those that heard it once and hated it, give it a chance, and listen to it a few more times in the context of the ALbum.
hey, your entitled to your opinion. i have tried giving it a chance, b/c i don't want to say i "hate" an AL song, but it still isn't growing on me.

i'll give it time...

Unless we are talking about a different sound the little squealy noises could easily be a kid and their mother going eee.

And if you look at the archives on the Mothership you might find that that's exactly what they are.

yeah when you listen for it you can really hear Nina and Bo sounds and I bet Suzanne's is morphed somehow.

Wow! An instant holiday classic! This is going to be AWESOME in 5.1 surround.
Turn it up till the neighbors call the ASPCA.

Sounds a little like "Trim up the tree", from the original animated Grinch.

Celery works for bone-crunching sound FX.

Being a short song, listen to it three times. You'll hear 27 stompings that way.

Mostly Nina and Bo on weasel vocals (as it sounds to me) and perhaps
Suzanne on Celery? What an organic and veggie way to produce WSD, eh?
