Is this it?

We Are the Worms

I'm at work, so I can't really listen to it yet. Is it any good?

(Surely it's better than that last attempt at a parody!)

The point that Jeremy brought up is an excellent one. I never thought about the fact that the proceeds from a direct parody could be donated to charity. I'm not sure if that strengthens the argument that "Don't Download This Song" is a direct parody, but it does make a pretty good case for it.

Um, yes it does. It follows the "every other line rhymes" scheme.

Anyway, that awful song is too wordy.
4 words that Al said to me that blew me away:

"How's Problem Child doing?" - 7/12/11

So awesome!

I heard We Are the Worms on Dr. Demento a while back... that song actually isn't bad at all. The squeaky voices make it very funny.

Although Al's song will definiately be more clever than that. :P

It occurs to me that "Don't Download This Song" isn't a very good match, phoenetically or syllabically, for "We Are The World". Is IS, however, spot-for-spot if it were a parody of "Don't Disturb This Groove."

There is NOT a parody of We are the World on the new album. Speculations can end.

Yeah, style parody is definitely seeming like the most probable label right now.

I definitely think it will be on the album. I just think it will be a style parody. I mean, Bill Plympton did say that he was animating a video for a song called "Don't Download This Song". Unless the title was just something used to throw us off, it seems pretty safe to say that it will be on the album.
