I'm trying to memorize it, but I have the same problem as Ryan. Usually when I listen to it, I'm walking around and there are a lot of distractions.

I actually find this song easier to memorize than a lot of the other songs on the album, because there are so many fast-paced vocals on the other songs.

But yeah, I can pretty much go along with the instrumental track with no problem.

I think I've got it pretty well memorized. I didn't hear it until the 26th, either. Marshall and I both love it. He knows some of it, but not all yet. I'm just so glad he's liking SOL. His friend came over, and mentioned he likes W&N. Yay!

I don't really know if I have ANY of the songs on SOL memorized completely...I think this album's a lot harder to spit out than a lot of Al's previous records, with TiDT included. TiDT I could do with the track, but I doubt I could do it karoake style..I still need Al's vocal cues for this one...but I like singing it with him more than alone, if that makes any sense...:S

I hear ya, Cat...It's virtually impossible for me to sing to instrumentals because I have no idea when to come in when the original vocals are lost.

TitDT would be impossible almost to sing karaoke to because once you forgot one line, you would hopelessly lost as to where to continue.

Cause I DO!

But to be fair, I heard this song like 3 weeks before the album was released.
Uh
I do too.
Small text included.

My son played the first 5 parts to "Trapped in the Closet" for me today. I was floored--I kept asking my son, "Is this a farce? Did R. Kelly mean for this to be funny?" My son said no.

But I'm glad I listened once (don't need to do that again, and I don't need to hear the other, what, 7 parts to the song?), because I appreciate "Trapped in the Drive-Thru" SO much more now that I see what a fabulous job Al has done with this parody. I love that he does little sound effects all through it. The sound effects sound absolutely ridiculous when R. Kelly does them, which, of course, makes Al's sound effects all the more funny.

Great job, Al! :bigups:
