Ok if you look on the wikipedia page for "straight outta lynwood" and Here.
You will see that:
"Weird Al-Six music videos on the album, on the DVD side of the album. On top of that there's "White and Nerdy," and I'm actually shooting the video for another song tomorrow. So far there are going to be 8 videos for the album and six of them are on the album itself."
This is not including the JibJab video.
Soo total:
6 animated originals
White & Nerdy
Do I Creep You Out (by JibJab)
Plus unknown video Weird Al started shooting September 28th(after White & Nerdy)
Makes 9 Videos!

I think the problem is it hasn't been CLARIFIED that the new footage shot was for a new video, and not just to aide in Jib Jab's video..or am I totally lost?

No, you're not lost, Cat. We know Al did a photo shoot for the JibJab video, but we can't be sure whether that was the video he was referring to when he said he'd be shooting a new one.

Why would Al talk about shooting a new video if he was only talking about the previously mentioned Jibjab one?
Gosh, be a bit optimistic!

Not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic. It's not worth getting your hopes up prematurely...if we have a new video (other than JibJab's) CONFIRMED, THEN I will get excited.

He has mentioned several times that there are going to be 8 videos for this album. I think even after knowing the JibJab video, he still mentioned 8 videos in total.
It would make sense if the photo shoot is for the JibJab video.

Well, I think we all
hope there's 9 videos. Stop trying to be right and be optimistic, guys!

But seriously, if "DICYO"
is the next single, the album sales will probably drop off so substantially, a third single won't even be necessary. The song's just not that good.

I don't know when this Robin Sparkles video was released... is it a possible inspiration for Al's song (unarmed Canadian mallrats, after all) or is it an example of GMTA?

I think it's a coincidence. Al's line "Never see them bring their guns to the mall" was a reference to the concealed weapons thing and how some people bring their guns to everywhere they can. The unarmed Canadian mallrats thing is funny, though.
