But White & Nerdy is already redirecting to WeirdAl.com.
The cover goes with the first single and Chamillionaire's post said it would be the first single. I think it's entirely possible that Al will use these animated videos to promote his original material which often goes ignored in the public mind. Al's made original videos in the past but its harder for him to do so now because most of the people want to hear the parodies. There's no reason to think there won't be multiple releases that would give Al maximum exposure.
Suppose Poodle Hat had several mini-videos a la Bob. Then these might occasionally air on the music networks. This could even be a reaction to the problems Al's had lately with parody permissions in a digital age. I'm definitely thinking the website release could be DDTS but I wouldn't be surprised either way. And let's face it, at least some spoiler information will be gained about both songs in the rest of this week either way.

Let's face it. It's the parodies that sell Al albums. It's the parodies that make him the "big bucks" at iTunes. I don't think he'd give away potentially the biggest seller (WaN) for free.

Al releasing a song as a free download doesn't happen without reason. The reason here will be the sheer absurdity of releasing a free download titled "Don't Download This Song." (Along with the free publicity of course.)

My money is on DDTS being the song that premiers Monday on MySpace!
