I definitely think he'll say weed. It's definitely not any worse than saying "crack".

Or "dope" for that matter, even though that instance was a little more skillfully worded.

He'll say weed.

He SHOULD say "nigga" because it would shock everyone :P

(Even though I don't particularly like the word)
(But he could turn around and say "Hey, the blck dudes said it, why can't I?" Ooh, Al's gettin' edgy >:) )

TLP, maybe it's because you're Scottish or something, but it just isn't that simple. It's just not the same kind of "edgy".

Don't worry, I know you were kidding. :P

I've never heard "Buy Me A Condo" before, so I wasn't aware of that one. Huh. So, maybe he did say "weed" after all.

As far as the "nigga" line goes, personally? In all truth? It wouldn't bother me that bad either way, censored or not. I mean, obviously I know why people would be offended or upset by it. I'm just personally not. But I'm expecting it to be censored anyway, so there you go. :P

Haha! :P

(Can't pretend the usual 'because you're Scottish' thing didn't sting just a little though... :P )

Wow, I reek of sarcasm. Wonder if that's a Scottish thing, too?

*suddenly clicks that Billy Connelly is Scottish*
*smacks forehead*
*thinks about actual topic at hand*
*thinks for a bit*
*gets back to normal*

Anyway, why shouldn't he say it? No-one is shocked when a black person says it but they're all up in arms when a white dude says it.

Why are people all so backwards?

However, I agree with Themagic#27

I really dont think the issue is whether or not its offensive or not, moreso which version of the song would sound better. If he used the real line and it was too distracting, or wasnt as funny, Al wont use it. That being said, I dont think he would go the "broke broke" route if it sounded worse.

I expect broke broke for various reasons, but wouldnt be surprised to hear a sound effect, or even the actual line. No matter what though, Im pretty sure this is the only forum in the world where this would be considered an actual issue by the fans.

It's not an issue as such, we're just speculating.

Though it would sound better with a sound effect - for some reason, 'boing' sound effects make me laugh like mad...

the sound effect would have to have two 'syllables' imho
