yoda is the best part of the concert but i almost feel weird saying that cuz its the the end so its like yay i'm happy its the end but the end is just so exciting and full of energy. When i went to my last concert i could say part of the yoda chant that wasnt changed from before cuz i watched WAY live so many times.lol. I never leave the concert until i have to be walked out by the security guards cuz i really wanna get back there. B/c i dont leave until then i was able to get steve jays autograph cuz he came out. Then Mongo or whatever his name was was walking around on the stage and me and my friend kept yelling to him asking if he could get us back there but i dont think he heard us cus there was a bunch of other people yelling for him too. I cant wiat for the next concert and i also cant wait until i figure out how people get backstage passes cuz i just have to get back there one day

Al didn't think he had the permission from Ray Davies. And Ray's people never even bothered checking with him. Al's learned over the years to go directly to the artist whenever possible and cut out the middle men.

Dave
well wasnt that what happened with James Blunt with you're pitiful?

I've heard both Coca Cola and cherry cola -- Coca Cola is in the original lyric, but the BBC objected to product placement, so Ray Davies changed it to cherry cola for the radio.

Not exactly. In that case, Al had permission from James Blunt, but James's record company denied permission.

how could he not. yoda = al. i would, i have to say, be dissapointed if AL chose not to include it in the latest tour.

James Blunt personally said it was okay, but the company his works with said that Al couldn't.

EDIT: Meanwhile, back on topic-- -- I really, really hope they keep Yoda on the setlist. It's a really fun, high-energy song, and the perfect ending for a show-- plus, what would a concert be without a Yoda Chant? o:
