I see your point, but nobody can really relate to Party at the Leper Colony either. There aren't very many people around who still have leprosy, much less people who have partied with them. I'm beginning to think more and more that this is an album title, but I just wanted to make that point.
Well, I still consider P@TLC to be more an interesting linguistic game than a song dedicated to concrete subject matter. But yeah, Weasel Stomping Day is something that I really wanna listen to.

Hey, that's pretty good, tessaigapants! I actually went and looked up the real lyrics, because I thought, "wow, I never noticed that the song mentioned weasels"!!
Don't I feel dumb.
As an aside, and very (more?) off-topic, he does mention weasels in 4 songs previously, so there is an "inside joke" quality to naming the album with "weasels" in the title.
ok, back to the cat discussion!
FreedomandLaughs: I agree with your reasoning, sounds quite plausible -- and it fits in with all the hints we have so far.

Um...I think that 4 mentions in 11 albums hardly makes weasles a motif quite yet...it is just a funny animal.

On one hand, I'm sorry. I didn't intend to mislead anyone.
On the other hand, Bwahaaaa-ha-ha-ha!!! I gotcha!
(and I wasn't even trying)
Since hearing of "Weasel Stomping Day", I've been in an animal abuse mood.
Tease the cat. Choose your weapon, laser pointer or women who won't say yes.
Whack a mole. As seen in arcades everywhere.
Stomp Stomp Revolution. Should be found next to Whack a mole.
Hack a few weasel graphics here and there.
Toss the hamster. I have no idea where this comes from.
Wolf flossing day. More humane than magnums, uzis or bazookas.
Bruise the duck. What the wolf did.
Shoot the birdies. Got a brand new semi-automatic Sony with a laser sight.
And any number of warped Conceptual Continuity Al animal abuse
that pops into my demented brain.

I mean, bad as in "OMG YOU DID NOT JUST PUT THAT ON TV" bad. xD
July, hmm? Sweet, I'll have cable by then.
And as for listing it on the website, perhaps they will, they just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Well, I saw a clip from Robot Chicken that I thought was really funny. Let's hope this episode will be like that.

King Weasel Stomp was the name of a jazz album. Weasel Stomp was also track five of "Crunchy Frog Blues". Plus some guy on his blog said, "It takes a village to stomp a weasel". Perhaps that is the real proverb. This all and more from Google.

Weasel Stomping Day -- Could Al finally be getting retribution on those starving-crazed weasels he bought at the donut shop in Albuquerque?
