The demo version is great. It is chock full of zany sound effects. And all accordion!

That's exactly what I love about it. Not to mention Sulu's vocal cameo, and a very young sounding Al. I've got a recording of it from when I still owned the Placebo EP. I gotta admit, I'm a sucker for the horn, too. Makes me laugh out loud every time. I believe Damascus also did a vocal cameo on the demo, as well as Musical Mike Keifer. Didn't Bermie make a second appearance banging on the accordion case for this, too?

Just a little warning: Bermuda is the officially sanctioned nickname of Mr Schwartz.

Here's an ezine (I guess it would be) with a Gotta Boogie short story, or maybe it's a memoir.

You wan't the Placebo E.P on CD? Do you have: Another one rides the bus, Happy Birthday (Demo), Gotta Boogie (Demo), and Mr. Frump in the Iron Lung (EP DEMO)? If so, all you need is iTunes and a burnable CD and you have it! I think the demo version of Gotta Boogie is better than the album version.

Having not read the previous 4 pages, I gotta say, I like Gotta Boogie. Might be immature. but it's fun.

At first I was repulsed by "Gotta Boogie", but I have since learned to like it. It's a nice play on words.

I remember in like 3rd grade I would sing this song all the time and everyone in the class thought it was the best thing ever.

It is the best thing ever.

Such an odd choice for a song theme. But it works.
