Ryan, "Ridin'" is a pretty recent hit. I just heard it for the first time a couple of weeks ago, though I know it's been out for a little longer than that. I really doubt that You're Pitiful and White & Nerdy co-existed. There's no reason to think the front page of weirdal.com is completely up to date. Maybe Jon/Al are waiting a little while to make the announcement.
Hey, Poodle Hat's release date came out about two months before the album, so maybe we'll be getting some new information relatively soon. I'm sure Al is busy right now with photo shoots and the like. Does anyone have a good image of the Chamillionaire album cover or anything that is likely parody fodder?

Weird Al is the best white rapper ever! He isn't nerdy, he's cool. I don't much care for rap, but I can't get enough of Al rapping.
Dave? Hello Dave? Is Dave there? There's a block in your t'ilet.

:whoot: This is great news! I really do believe it is 100% authentic and I think "White and Nerdy" will be an awesome parody. I'm a little concerned about the fact that Al is parodying both User and R. Kelly, but I'm sure Al will knock it out of the park. I agree that the Green Day parody will probably be of "Boulevard of Broken Dreams". That song has a lot of parody potential. Did anyone figure out whether September 26 is a Volcano release date or not? That could help confirm the validity of this announcement. If the release date is authentic, we only have a little over two months to wait until the album comes out!
Oh by the way, I've cracked the code.

If thats the cover name, I can't wait to see the cover photos!

Theres nothing like a rapping accordionist!
Aron-- Only the second accordionist to ever sit in the trunk of Torsoboy's DeLorean. Al was the first.

While I think that White and Nerdy would be a pretty good album name, I think that more potential lies in a parody of another album (like Even Worse) or a completely original title (like Running With Scissors). These have always proven to be Al's most fun album covers and names in the past.

Well I did the count out for June 27th and it didnt fall on one of their dates and it was supposed to be the original release date, so I guess they either changed their policy, or were going to let Al do what he wanted.
