I didn't look at all the stuff yet, but until we know that it is available on purchased items, it will not be posted here.

The forum policy is that we do not use pics that belong to The Mothership. If you don't like it, start your own forum. That has been the policy for as long as this forum has existed. The reason is 1) because WHiZZi said so, 2) because Bermuda has made it very clear that those images are not to be used without permission. Which he seldom gives. I've asked him for my personal use and he's said no. I've asked him for Star Fund use, and he's graciously not only given permission but made sure we had nice hi-res copies to use.

The publicity photos of Al all belong to either Al or Volcano. So technically using any of them is a copyright infringement. But as a policy the forum has not allowed the use of pictures that are on weirdal.com unless you are the owner of the photo (or have permission from the owner.) Bermuda has made it clear that he chooses to keep the pictures that belong to either Al, Volcano or himself exclusive to the website. The copyright notice used to be much clearer than it is now. When the website was redesigned the copyright notice now reads:

©1995-2005 Ear Booker Enterprises, Inc., All Rights Reserved

Ear Booker Enterprises is Al's brand name, if I'm not mistaken. So using stuff from The Mothership without permission is pretty disrespectful to a guy that we claim to be fans of.

So in conclusion: if that photo is part of the bonus material, it's allowable. If it's exclusive to weirdal.com it's not. I'm not going to argue with anyone about this. It's forum policy and if you don't want to voluntarily play by the rules, I have the authority and ability to enforce them.

And I will.

EDITED TO ADD: I just had a look through the bonus material from PH and I did not see that particular photo there. So unless someone can correct me, I'm making the executive decision that it is off limits for use at WOWAY.

Bobbi, what I was getting at when I said what's in the quote box was, there is a pic on the PH insert where Al has a similar expression. This image could have been flipped, and the arms changed somehow. What do you think? I can't remember if he was looking up or not, though. Also, I can't seem to figure out where on the Mothership the pic in question is located. Maybe someone knows? Anyway, I scanned the pic I thought it was.

Yeah, I wasn't sure at first, but after posting that, I thought maybe it wasn't after all. So, we're back to square one. I'm still not sure where on the Mothership the pic in question is, though.

Well, you said you couldn't remember, though. You also said that it was from the Mothership back when you first posted the image. Anyway, if you or anyone else can prove it's not there, then you can use it.

There are sites that ape pics from the Mothership, so that may not be of help

True, Dingo. I was thinking maybe Bermuda could verify if that pic was from the Mothership. I've looked through the gallery, and haven't seen it...yet.
