This is the first time I've ever checked this topic. I noticed you guys were talking about Shrinky Dinks. I tried printing on to regular Shrinky Dink paper and it doesn't work. So, I drew one. I made a bunch and gave them to Al Gals at the Indy show. Here's one.

I just got done making a keychain for someone as well.

I'll post more of my stuff when I get the pics put up on photobucket.

Shrinky Dink is paper that you draw on. You make whatever design you want with Pencils, markers or stamps. You cut out your design and bake it in the oven for a couple of minutes. The paper shrinks. The design looks exactly the same only 1/3 it's size. It's too much fun!

Those are cute, Jenni! I remember you talking about the Poodle Hat Al, but I never saw the others. Very cool!

This is the first time I've ever checked this thread! I really love it... everyone is so creative! I've got a few projects in the works I thought I'd mention. :D

My first one is an Al purse. After one of the shows at OC, the t-shirt guy asked me if I wanted a free shirt..so naturally I said "YEAH!!". It's about 9,000 sizes to small for me, but I'm going to use the picture on the front to make a purse. I guess I'll just cut out the picture (the band photo ;) ) and sew it on a tote bag. I'll probably embroider the edges, or maybe even use sequins! :whoot:

Another thing I'm going to do is make an Al jacket. Again, using the artwork from various outgrown/beat up old tour shirts. Should be fairly simple. Cut, sew. Done! I'll probably use a denim jacket.

Also, I don't know if this counts as a craft...but I'm really into collages. I make them out of just about everything I own. Well I printed all of my favorite Al photos on my mom's fancy printer and I made a reallly cool collage for both sides of my school binder. It turned out really awesome. :) I'll have to take some pix of it soon.

Does anybody have any helpful suggestions about my little projects? If so, I'd love to hear them!
Thanx!

ALways,
Christina
