Who does?
He originally had something like "Mary Tyler Moore was an actress, and in UHF, Al was too."

I have no clue who Captain Beefheart is either...

I'm not 100% sure but I think Captain Beefheart has recorded with Frank Zappa. And, Dweezil Zappa has recorded with Al.

As for Mary -- Al was on the Simpsons with Julie Kavner (Marge) who in the 70's played Rhoda's sister on the spin-off series -- spun off from the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Elton John (hint-- there are 2 direct links)

Al's first rock album was Elton's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Thanks for mentioning that. I had forgotten about Beat It!

My connection: Eddie is married to Valerie Bertinelli, who once hosted SNL when Victoria Jackson was a cast member. (However, I don't know if any of you would have known that.)

Johnny Cash was a guest star on the Muppet Show many years ago. Al mentioned the Muppet Show in Couch Potato.

Sir Elton once did a duet with Eminem, and you know the story from there.

Brad Sherwood (If you know who he is this should be EASY)

Brad Sherwood is on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with Drew Carey. Drew Carey was in the video for "It's All About The Pentiums."

Also, for Elton John, Al parodied "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" with "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Zoo"

Howard Cosell

Nathan Lane provided the voice for Timon in "The Lion King." Cheech Marin also provided a voice in the film, for "Banzai." Cheech performed on "Taco Grande."

....One of these days you're gonna say one that I can do. Only being 14 has it's drawbacks...

This one's actually pretty easy if you know who Miss Richardson is. I can do it in two degrees easily!
