It doesn't.
It's actually a prolonged piano chord, and if you gradually turn up the volume as it fades out, you can hear it.

Oh... Thats A REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY long piano chord... I had it up LOUD and didn't hear anything for a long time... maybe LOUD is quietish when your sisters are asleep or something....

Well, it is a piano chord after all. I believe that I also thought that it was one minute of silence the first time I heard this song.
