Nathan Lane revised the book for and starred in Stephen Sondheim's musical adaptation of Aristophanes' The Frogs.
Sondheim's wrote the lyrics to "West Side Story," accompanying the music by Leonard Bernstein.
Samuel Byck, who tried to assassinate President Nixon, shared his plans with Bernstein.
Nixon was shown briefly in the "Gump" video.

Well, I read somewhere that he invented the accordion, but I'm probably mistaken.
The video game "Madden 2005" is named after John.
"American Idiot" by Green Day is in the game.
Green Day also did "Basket Case",
which is included in "The Alternative Polka."
