Could someone post the direct link to the file, or mirror it, for those who can't get onto myspace from school?

Well, you are going to buy the CD aren't you? Think of it as a sneak preview...

Looks like the the Old Grey Lady got it right mostly -- the New York Times -- not me :P

...see first post in this thread.
This means something. This is important.

I'm pretty sure the reference was that Tommy Chong was put in jail largely as symbolism for the War on Drugs. He was released shortly after and the point was more for the public to see that even Tommy Chong was getting arrested for smoking weed.
Similarly, the people that get in trouble for downloading music are sued mostly to cause fear amongst downloaders.

Oh, of course. But he could also have jabbed the self-righteousness of people who swipe every song they can until they've got 8 hard drives bulging full, because information just wants to be free, maan...

I'm not criticizing at all, and I definitely don't want to start a debate on filesharing! I just thought it was interesting in light of things like this old Ask Al answer...

Jeremy McCarthy of Fairfield, CT asks: Hey Al!!!!! What do u think about Napster? I just want to know if you approve.

I have very mixed feelings about it. On one hand, I’m concerned that the rampant downloading of my copyright-protected material over the Internet is severely eating into my album sales and having a decidedly adverse effect on my career. On the other hand, I can get all the Metallica songs I want for FREE! WOW!!!!!

Geez, geddoverit. He's doing that for us to buy the CD. It's a tactical ploy, Jace. You above all should know that.

Boy, I've listened to this song too many times to count already in the last hour. If the rest of the album is even close to this good, we're in for the best album of his career.

I really can't wait to have the instrumental version of this on the DualDisc. I think this is one of the many originals in which the music is even better than the lyrics! I especially love the little bit of the tune that plays right after the first "Don't download this song" in the chorus. I can't stop humming it!
