Yeah, Lazenby, I meant seperate the choir to produce a file that has the choir WITHOUT Yankovic - take Al's voice out, leaving only the choir - no instruments, no lead vocals, just background vocals. That's not on SOLnaked.
If we could get a file like that, it would give the remixer another level of control over the song - how loud do i want the choir, how loud do i want Al, do i want just al and not the choir, or just the choir and not al, ect. I don't know if that's possible but I've been thinking about a techno/trance/dance remix of Don't Download This Song that would sound better if I had the backup vocals by themselves to play with for some parts

well since he isn't answering, I can give you an informed guess.
there are plenty of dvd audio extraction programs. i use one called imTOO dvd audio extractor.
after that, based on the surround sound audio streams in the dvd, he probably used one of the methods talked about in this thread i just found on google:

I answered, I explained it to T7S7 on AIM. DVD Audio Extractor gives you a little menu of which audio feed on the DVD you want to rip, and if you choose 5.1, you have the option of ripping each channel as a separate WAV.
Steve's mixes, lookie!

Lazenby sent me the choir. thanks
Don't know when I'll have time to get a remix done but I will get to it eventually. Right now I'm involved in this big Daft Punk remixing project and have also been assembling Daft Punk fan remix playlists: http://editthis.info/wiki42/ReDiscovery
