Re: Fan Art
Do you all remember that story, that when Al first got married to Suzanne she helped him clean his closets out and he got rid of hundreds of old Hawaiian shirts? They both donated them all to Goodwill. I've often had fun picturing that week in L.A., when hundreds of poor & homeless men and women were each given one of Al's sparkly stage shirts to wear. I picture them all walking on the street glittering away in the sunlight and smiling. --Could someone try to draw that?

Re: Fan Art
I would upload art if I was good at digital drawing and if I had a scanner so I could upload my traditional drawing pictures

My scanner is broken, too, so I just use my camera phone at the moment. Doesn't have to be scanned. Share with us!

Re: Fan Art
I got bored, so I was listening to podcasts and drawing whatever I thought of on my laptop...with my mouse pad...on some random "draw online" website...thing...so they weren't the best... and I drew Al pointing for some reason, so here.

I made a thing. Or rather, I made four things. I'm not completely happy with them (I can't seem to capture his face the way I want to
) but they are what they are.

Love and peace.

I like these soft colours and and your minimalistic yet sufficient background, and most importantly Al actually looks like Al in all of them
. Good job!

Re: Fan Art
Thanks guys.
I kind of needed some people to tell me they're good pictures because right now all I can see is the flaws and how far they fall short of what I envisioned.
and it still doesn't look like him IMO. But the rest of them are alright. I really like how the second one turned out, in particular. And I'm kind of proud of how I've actually managed to draw decent hands for the first time in my life.
And the colours are actually a bit more vibrant in real life, the pictures don't quite do them justice.

Ha, I'd argue that on the first pic. I've redrawn the eyes so many times trying to get them rightmellow weasel wrote: Al actually looks like Al in all of them. Good job!
