now I can't confirm if this is a transcode or not, I doubt download.com woudl do that though.
EDIT: ok, my audiophile friend anyalized it and said the 160kbps has a higher frequency cutoff. looks like this was transcoded (or it's a really bad rip)
OK, my only question is: I know Tommy Chong went to jail a while back, but was it on some sort of downloading bust? I thought it was related to him selling drug paraphanalia. Did Al include Tommy just because his last name is Chong, or am I missing something else?

That's actually what I've been wondering for a really long time too. I knew about the drug paraphanalia, but I don't recall Tommy Chong having anything to do with downloading songs.

It's an analogy... Tommy Chong was used in the "war on drugs" as a symbol that nobody is safe, hence his arrest. Remembering Tommy is simply meant to draw a comparison, yet at the same time point out the absurdity of the whole thing (or, most likely, the absurdity of both issues).
I think the point is, the man went to jail. Sure, it was for possession of drugs and paraphenalia, but he went to jail, which is all the song says. I like the remember Tommy line, and am leaning towards using that avvie, if it's available.
And I see HYEI really made a good post while I was still typing up mine.
