Two of my CDs are original Scotti Bros. CDs.  :o  I had baught them used is why! I have the Dare To Be Stupid orignial CD, and the Off The Deep End original CD. And to believe I bought both at the same time. Lol.
That's funny.

That reminds me of when I first started collecting Al CDs, because I frequented the local used-record stores a lot at that time. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why out of all my '80s Al CDs, only "Polka Party!" had a lyric booklet.

That cup always haunts me, I've never got it. That's kind of what irritates me, I've never got one of the cups and I've been to 11 concerts, but some people who've only been to 1, get it! I mean, I'm glad for those people, but hopefully I'll get it someday.

Ya know...That is one thing that kind of bothers me...My Dare To Be Stupid CD MAY be a Scotti Bros. CD (I baught a new one and it is DEFINITLY different!) It has the Scotti Bros. Emblem, sending address, Scotti Bros. Copyrights...But NO booklet. All it has is a little tiny peice of paper with the cover picture for the front, and one different picture on the inside. No lyrics or ANYTHING!!! It says "Copyright 1991" so maybe that is when Scotti Bros. Stopped making the lyric booklets...Oh, well...I DO have a rarity...I guess? Lol

What you might have is commonly referred to as the "BMG" version of the CD. You see, originally Scotti Bros. releases were distributed in the United States by CBS Records. This changed in 1990, when Scotti Bros. switched its domestic distribution to BMG. This switch allowed Scotti to reissue everything in its catalog, but for whatever reason they cut corners by removing the inside content to the CD inserts.

These same reissues were in turn reissued in 1996 when Scotti Bros. changed its distribution again to WEA. Leftover BMG inserts and discs were used before new ones were printed, so there are a few hodge-podge versions out there as well.

The BMG versions aren't necessarily rare, as they were continually released over a period of five years, but now that there have been both frequent distribution and label changes since then, to find one new in a store would be quite impressive.

Hmmm... I guess I haven't posted my collection here. Pathetic as it is...

Let's see, I have all the requisite studio albums and cheezy compilations, except for P&TW. Somewhere I have a *ahem* copy of that. But I haven't found it since I moved.

I have four (I think) CDs of rarities.

I have the Pokémon Soundtrack, and a Frankie Yankovic CD to complete my Polka Collection.

I have a 45 of Eat It/That Boy Could Dance and a book (can't recall the name at the moment) that has an article and an Al self portrait. (Thanks Dave!)

I have The Tenacity Of The Cockroach, which is the first and last thing I willever buy from The Onion. <_<

I have The Compleat Al and a Cassette single of SLN (Thanks Jim!)

I have autographs from Al, Jim, Steve, Rubén, Bermuda and Miles. And photos with Rubén, Jay and that Al guy.

I have several fan made things that various fans have shared with me.

Oh, and I stole Al's drinking cup from the SLO show.

Probably lots more I am forgetting right now. Someday I need to update my collection page.

AL thinking after he read this " OH , Scotti were you that person who took my favorite cup ,

I'll keep that in mind when I see you in a few days on the Portland concert " ( JK )
